So it is suggested to change the path: "/usr/sbin/kdm" into "/usr/bin/kdm". My question is now, is there a file named kdm in the /usr/bin directory? There is, however, the file kdm in the directory /usr/sbin. At least in gnome the file named gdm cannot be found in the directory /usr/bin.
Using false directory is obviously not a fix to this bug. -- kdm does not start (upstart) - error in /etc/init/kdm.conf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/437067 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
