Confirmed, also with DLink DWL-G120 USB (H/W Ver B1)
This is due to wrong firmware from linux-firmware packages (in
/lib/firmware)... Please see bug report #437515 and report there, as
karmic is now the current development release
So marked this one as a duplicate..
