Heh, I don't even HAVE a menu.list in /boot/grub although I have a PILE of menu.lst.new files ...at least 30 of 'em. Anyone know how to fix that?? Using Kubuntu Karmic i686. Every time I use synaptic, I get the same ole same damn ole message that the splash-images is cocked up. Been that way for over a month now. BAH! Ric
