Glad to hear you got it working. I wonder what led you to install the
nvidia drivers in the first place? The description has to be improved I
guess, until those drivers are fixed so they don't mess up with other
drivers.
Can you please file a new bug about this documentation issue? If it was
the "Hardware Drivers" GUI that offered you to install this, please file
the bug using "ubuntu-bug jockey".
