Scott has been busy loading new versions of Wine1.2 to the main archive.
I think I've caught up with him now :)
run 'apt cache policy wine1.2'
If you're running the correct version you should see:
wine1.2:
Installed: 1.1.30-0ubuntu1+winepulse0.30
Candidate: 1.1.30-0ubuntu1+winepulse0.30
Version table:
*** 1.1.30-0ubuntu1+winepulse0.30 0
500 http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
1.1.30-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
If not, you need to upgrade.
