Hi, I think you might be missing a bit of the system that some bits use.
If you could paste the results of 'dpkg -l libgtk2.0-0' (paste that into the terminal without the quotations) that might help. If it says that it can't find it, try 'sudo aptitude install libgtk2.0-0' (in the again) and then retry using the them manager.
