This should be fixed in ubiquity 1.99.27 and later, which will be
included in a subsequent rebuild of the mythbuntu ISO today (20090929.3,
estimated to appear within an hour). Relevant changelog entry:
ubiquity (1.99.27) karmic; urgency=low
* Emit starting-dm in the ubiquity and oem-config upstart jobs.
