I am currently experiencing this problem with Jaunty Jackalope, on a
Compaq C700 (C715NR). The monitors work great on boot, but after I
hibernate and resume, I get this:
pmich...@pmichaud-laptop:~$ cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/TZ01/temperature
temperature: 0 C
and my laptop starts to overheat.
