Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mutt
HTML attachments are shown as HTML source, even though I have this in my
~/.mailcap:
text/html; /usr/bin/firefox '%s'; test=test -n "$DISPLAY" ;
description=HTML Text; nametemplate=%s.html
text/html; lynx -force_html %s; needsterminal;
text/html; elinks -default-mime-type text/html %s; needsterminal;
text/html; lynx -dump -force_html %s; needsterminal; copiousoutput;
text/html; elinks -dump -dump-charset iso-8859-15 -default-mime-type
text/html %s; needsterminal; copiousoutput;
My Mutt configuration hasn't changed since I ran Kubuntu 9.04, but
since the ugprade to 9.10 Mutt has been showing HTML source instead of
HTML attachments. I have "set implicit_autoview=yes".
When opening an image attachment Mutt does open the image in the
appropriate viewer.
What I would have expected is the old behaviour I saw: that Mutt would
pipe the HTML attachment through lynx -dump, just as configured in my
~/.mailcap file.
