if you have installed "uswsusp" package, do this...
go to /etc/uswsusp.conf and change "platform" by "shutdown".

give me the output of "cat /usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults"


i don´t have a laptop or my computer updated, the saturday i go to "fedora
day" for install it on my laptop and start to help again ;)

now only i can ask you for more information to know what you have on your
configuration...
