Anders,
Unfortunately this is a known issue that is currently unsupported. Please
see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EncryptedHome in the last paragraph of
the Caveats for the explanation of this issue.
I'll resolve this as invalid.
Note: we should disable the hibernate button for environments using
encrypted home. Will work to see if a new bug is needed on that
particular package to address this.
