The workaround for this is to add 'nolapic_timer' to the boot system.

You do this in Grub 2 by editing the /etc/default/grub file and adding
the parameter to the line with 'quiet splash' in it. (Parameter
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT).

Upstream needs to fix the qos requests in the Ethernet driver to solve
the problem properly.
