- First install Compiz Settings Manager: sudo aptitude install compizconfig-settings-manager
- Open the settings manager from Systems menu > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager - On the right under Desktop category click on Viewport Switcher - Switch to "Desktop-Based Viewport Switching" - Move Next and Move Prev should be disabled - Now, click on the disabled button and set one to use Button 4 and the other one to use Button 5 of the mouse You should now be able to move through your desktops by scrolling your mouse on the desktop wallpaper. This may not be how it worked previously but I'm highly confident. -- mouse wheel doesn't switch virtual desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/441298 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
