Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
After updates in Karmic, Youtube controls stopped working in my Firefox. The movies them selves played fine. As the additional information indicates, the package is no longer installed. I am now again using the 64 bit Flash version from Adobe. http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.htm Simply putting libflashplayer.so in /var/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/ and putting a symlink to it in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ works form me. maybe, the AMD64 package should start using this binary instead of the 32bit one with the plugin wrapper.
