Could be or the framebuffer and possible lots of other things. My display is 1280x800.
I've tried it with and without the 'nolapic_timer' option. Without I get. usb_id[417] : unable to access '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1s.2/usb4/4-2' With I get occasional DRM failures that stop the framebuffer starting. [drm:drm_fill_in_dev] *ERROR* Cannot initialize the agpgart module.
