Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dpkg
When installing any package from http://www.getdeb.net or http://xzcallaway.synthasite.com I expect the package to install so that I can play it. Instead the Package Installer stops just short of installing it, and prints the following message: "Failed to install package" Next the terminal opens and it states: "dpkg: unable to read file descriptor flags for <package status and progress file descriptor>: bad file descriptor."
