I marked a few other bugs as duplicates of this one, as they have in
common complaining about text being displayed before xsplash starts.
Some of them mention specific source of the message (nvidia, ACPI, ...),
but I believe this bug (if it is a bug) should be fixed in a unified way
a not on a case-by-case basis; unmark the duplicates if that is not
true.
