Yes, and it has the exact same result. Fdisk shows no SATA drives either. also, I found that after I upgraded to 8.04 the kernel that was standard failed to find the drive but the second option, the one with .11 at the end of the version, did. I read somewhere it might have something to do with my Mobo sata controller, which is intel.
