Same here, with Ubuntu 9.10 Beta.
Ubiquity crashes when it is going to create partitions.
Steps to reproduce it:
1.) Load the liveCD with the default option.
2.) Run ubiquity and go to the partitions step.
3.) Create partitions manually.
4.) Create one primary partition in ext4 with / mountpoint.
5.) Create another one primary partition for swap.
6.) Create another one primary partition in ext4 with /home mountpoint.
7.) Go to the last step and click install.
8.) Ubiquity shows the first image of their slideshow about 0,5 seconds and it
crashes.
