OK, It would be better to find where the delay was introduced before contacting the developers (as it's something very old I doubt that it would be that easy to fix, so speed doesn't really matter). Can to tell me the version of a kernel for which you think custom DSDT are not needed, so I can check and confirm. I hope you can cut the list down to less than five - I don't want to spend a day rebooting ;) On Friday I will have the time to check, and I will be very happy if you can check it also.
