Thanks for trying Ubuntu One, and for reporting this problem.
Could you check (and paste) the syslog file (/var/log/syslog.*) around
the date/hour you got this error from syncdaemon?
I think this might be related to a problem with the hard disk, as the
syncdaemon is getting an error whie trying to write to it.
