I've come across a bug that I'm only able to reproduce in Ubuntu. I've tested
this in Fedora, Red Hat, and CentOS without any problems.

Trying to pattern match a directory with 'ls *[0-9]' will output the
entire directory instead of the files it should match. I've tested this
on multiple computers running Ubuntu 9.04 with the same results.

To reproduce, 'cd /usr/bin' then run 'ls *[0-9]'.

** Affects: coreutils (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
