Public bug reported: Binary package hint: coreutils
Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 coreutils: Installed: 6.10-6ubuntu1 Candidate: 6.10-6ubuntu1 Version table: *** 6.10-6ubuntu1 0 500 http://mirrors.rit.edu jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I've come across a bug that I'm only able to reproduce in Ubuntu. I've tested this in Fedora, Red Hat, and CentOS without any problems. Trying to pattern match a directory with 'ls *[0-9]' will output the entire directory instead of the files it should match. I've tested this on multiple computers running Ubuntu 9.04 with the same results. To reproduce, 'cd /usr/bin' then run 'ls *[0-9]'. ** Affects: coreutils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ls pattern matching listing incorrect files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/443250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
