here it is, 1. Switch off wireless in laptop. (Dell Vostro 1500 has an button to turn off wireless & bluetooth) 2. Boot into Ubuntu. No wireless network identified as wireless turned off 3. Turn wireless on in laptop inside Ubuntu. Expecting network manager to connect to wireless networks but wireless option grayed out
