Public bug reported:
When trying to edit the DNS settings for a wireless network, I select Automatic
(DHCP) Address only. This is on the IP4 tab. I then input the DNS settings into
the textbox and press apply. They are not saved however. When edit the wireless
network it is if you did nothing.
So then I did the same as before, this time checking the all users box. It asks
for my password, which I input. Then if loads for a second then segfaults.
The output from the terminal is this:
** (nm-connection-editor:2594): WARNING **: Invalid connection (empty)
** (nm-connection-editor:2594): WARNING **: <WARN>
nma_gconf_connection_new(): No connection read from GConf at
/system/networking/connections/2.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
This still does not apply the DNS Settings.
