Public bug reported:
I can see that most questions on Ubuntu forums and on the answer tool
inside Launchpad which are related to sound happen because Ubuntu come
with audio channels muted by default. This is not a good aproach for new
comers. Since Ubuntu claims itself to be the Ubuntu for human beings and
desires to make things easier for people with no linux background, I
think it would be a good idea if basic channels could come unmuted by
default.
I don't know if this is viable, but i believe so. Let the technical
people say so.
