Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and help to improve
Ubuntu.
The /etc/acpi/sleep.sh script is intended to be called non-interactively
in response to an ACPI event, so the output of these commands isn't
going to be sent anywhere helpful; so I don't think we should add the
extra echo commands.
