This is something which a regular non-power-user will encounter. Instead of 
throwing up a traceback, I would suggest we have a neat message which indicates 
to the user 
1) the reason of failure and 
2) suggests going to synaptic for installing the same (ofcourse with a warning 
that this could be dangerous)

Although not related to this bug, encrypt was a standard option in
nautilus, however it has disappeared in karmic. This is the reasons I
tried to install seahorse-plugins and encountered this error. So any
user who was using encrypt file option in nautilus is potentially going
to encounter this issue.
