Public bug reported:
Ubuntu Karmic Beta does not recognize a pendrive: The pendrive's lamp keeps
blinking. When I put the pendrive in, another instance of Nautilus did not
start.
dmesg reports: "usb usb2: root hub lost power or was reset."
I consider this a regression as the same procedure worked all right in Jaunty.
I run '~$ ubuntu-bug linux'. Launchpad states: "This will automatically gather
information that will help us investigate your bug report."
I do not understand Launchpad's later request: "Ubuntu guidelines: Please
include, if possible: The source package you found the bug in" in view of the
first Launchpad statement. Please explain this contradiction before I submit
additional information to squat this bug.
