Are you sure that your server is reachable with the hostname "noname"? Does http://noname:631/ display the web admin interface of the server's CUPS? Which IP address does the command "host noname" show? The one of the client, the one of the server, or even a completely different one? How did you set up the queue on the client? Did you use system-config- printer? Which steps did you exactly do to obtain the queue?
