Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I can not make out any special action that causes the crashes. I'd say it is
mostly when working with tasks and notes.
Is there a way I can contribute more information for debugging?
Honestly, also when looking at the reports from other users, I cannot
understand why software in this state is released. This is the default PIM
delivered with major distributions. How do you plan to ever be able to compete
with commercial OSs with such applications? It might be heroic that you got so
far with people spending their free time on it, but what is it worth when the
product still cannot compete with commercial software?
It took a lot of my time migrating my PIM data to Linux and it will take even
more to get it back. But I cannot see that this software can be used when you
have to rely on it for daily work. Sorry, great OS, but AFAICS a lack of
professional applications.
