I haven't been able to reproduce this bug, I am wondering if this is
related to the kernel panics I've been having.  I'm going to assume
they're kernel panics, there seems to be no common way to produce them.
My caps-lock and num-lock lights will flash and nothing will be
responsive, the only way to get the system back is to hard power-off.
This may-or-may not help and it may be a separate issue.  I hope this
information helps.
