I get the same behaviour as in #20. The update manager lists all updates and when I click "Install" I get a window that only says "Wating for other tasks". But the update is done in the background.
Both windows stays open forever, and when I try to close the main window (no close button on the "Wating..." window) I get a crash similar to this bug report.
