thin problem occured on my system after upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10, at first boot only.
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck --leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log gnome-panel returned something like "gnome-panel is already running". reboot function and shut-down function lost their funktionality at the panel after crash. the countdown apeared but the system didn't reboot at order. maybe it helps you somehow. -- gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/436948 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
