pulse will not work for this old package, because it didn't get pulseaudio support until version 1.8+ Installed the karmic package libopenal1:1.8.466-2 +same version of dev on Jaunty and changed /etc/openal/alsoft.conf drivers=pulse And now both Warzone2100:2.2.3 from playdeb.net and the Blender game engine produce sound with no problem what so ever. -- OpenAL-based applications' sound is jerky https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403363 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
