When booting Kubuntu Karmic (Beta) I get the following error after grub
and I don't ever see a splash.
[ 6.709522] acerhdf: unknown (unsupported) BIOS version Gateway
/MT6841 /77.14 , please report, aborting!
This bug seems very similar to other bug reports but I didn't notice one
for this model of Gateway.
My system boots very quickly and is running very well. I think the
Ubuntu / Kubuntu teams are going to have another hit with this release.
