actually this bug is fixed in 20091008 cd but a minor error in the sources.list makes it impossible to install any app line 47 in the source.lst needs to be edited. its written like deb deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/moblin/ppa/ubuntu karmic main but deb should be one time only. so remove deb and everything is fine
