There are several .desktop files for brasero, including which :

/home/jerome/.local/share/applications/brasero.desktop
/usr/share/applications/brasero.desktop

Apparently the one in the user's directory overrides the one in "share".

The one in ~/.local reads :
Exec=brasero -e %U

The one in /usr/share :
Exec=brasero %U

There seems to be a bug, at least on my computer, with the -e option that makes
brasero silently crash :
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597808

Workaround : remove -e option in
/home/jerome/.local/share/applications/brasero.desktop

I'm leaving the bug open. If I'm not the only one where -e makes brasero
crash, then it could be worth modifying the .desktop file in the package
until the -e bug is fixed upstream. (Anyway, the -e option seems to be
useless : opening on new project page is the default behaviour.
Therefore, I believe it can be safely removed.)
