I have a dual head that used to work in Dapper, Edgy and Feisty. It stopped 
working since yesterday's updates. I don't know if it is because of the new 
kernel (2.6.20.8, was 2.6.20.6 when it worked), or some other package.
I have an ATI Mobility X600 (on a Dell Latitude D810) and I am using the open 
source drivers. This is a dual head setup, not xinerama, ie. I cannot move 
windows between screens, I have two KDE panels, two desktop switchers, etc. 
What happens is rather strange:
- When I boot the computer into X, my external LCD display is ON (not standby) 
but completely black. The mouse cursor doesn't show up. However the display 
seems to be detected as I can move the mouse away from the primary screen 
(although the cursor does not appear). Xrandr detects the correct modes of my 
monitor, with 1280x1024 as the default (and selected) mode. I tried to lower 
the resolution to 800x600, which causes the screen to "flash", but still 
nothing displayed.
- When I suspend/resume the computer, the external screen works, but at 800x600 
and xrandr does not detect any higher-resolution mode.
