Public bug reported:
My Monitor is Acer 22" Model: AL2216W
My Laptop it is connected to is a: Fujitsu Tablet t series 3010
I open the terminal and type:
"sudo gnome-display-properties" (If I access the application by clicking the
Ubuntu Icon, System, Preferences, Display, I can't even get as far as I've
described here.)
I uncheck Mirror Screens.
I change Resolution to 1680*1050(16:10).
I click Apply.
The Monitor Resolution Settings window opens.
I click Yes.
It tells me to log out and then log back in.
I Log out and back in, expecting my monitor to now have a resolution of
1680*1050, instead nothing changes.
