I've tried to reproduce this bug on Karmic (1.3.9-4) but I can't hear
any artifacts on either "stereo" or "joint stereo". I'm assuming it is
fixed, but if you can reproduce it on 1.3.9-4, please reopen the bug and
provide the exact steps you took to reproduce the bug. Thanks!
