** Description changed: The applet nvidia-settings does not detect my external flat panel. I have a Nvidia 9600M GT card, and tried using the drivers 173 and 180 from ubuntu and 185 and 190 using the guide at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1125400 The panel is connect from my HDMI port on the PC throug and HDMI to DVI converter and finaly through a DVI cable. The monitor was detected yesterday by nvidia-settings, but today it is not detected at all. I have tried to boot with the screen plugged and unplugged, but no changes are seen. When I plug in the cable the screen goes black and display shortly "3: Digital Input Entering Power Save". Please help me to solve this problem.
