** Description changed: Binary package hint: wacom-tools Hi, I can't seem to find a perfect match for this bug, although bug #365997 seems similar and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=793234 describes this problem exactly, with no replies to it. My Wacom Graphire and Wacom Intuos 3 tablets both stopped working correctly after an upgrade to Jaunty (it's an old Ubuntu box, upgraded from one release to the next for a while now, and wacom keeps getting broken every once in a while). Basically, when left-clicking, the click is ignored or happens very sluggishly - this means that Gnome launchers don't launch, GUI buttons don't get pressed down, and links in browser(s) don't get opened. Clicking several times tends to get some effects. The right-click has been sluggish as well, although it would seem it sometimes has been more responsive of the two. Not sure if this is just golden memories talking though. The stylus seems to be working fine, although the Intuos stylus seems to register button presses when I don't think I really pressed the button. It's not clear if this is a wiener-fingered user failure though. wacom-tools: 1:0.8.2.2-0ubuntu2 Release: Ubuntu 9.04 I'm hoping this is just a side effect of the (yet another) change in tablet management logic and goes away with further refinement, since stuff tends to fix itself after a while (like the mouse wheel inversion). However, I got worried since I didn't see an open bug describing the problem yet. X-) The upgrade to Jaunty has (correctly) commented out all wacom-related lines from my xorg.conf. Not sure what I could include here. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 RAM memory [0500]: nVidia Corporation MCP61 Memory Controller [10de:03ea] (rev a1) + Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
