** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg I sometimes boot my laptop with the lid closed and a monitor plugged in. X correctly identifies this setup and uses only the external monitor. If I unplug the external monitor, and then open the laptop, the resolution seems to be set correctly, but everything moves at about 0.2 fps. The mouse moves fine, but the screen only redraws every few seconds. It seems like everything is running fine... the effects work, music plays. But the screen only updates itself every few seconds. Restarting compiz did nothing. I have to log out and back in. ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Sep 30 11:46:04 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 MachineType: Dell Inc.
