I always update my kernel to the latest, which I get from this page: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ But now I can't install the newest kernels (2.6.32-rc1, 2.6.31-rc3), because the package installer has a problem about an invalid package file descriptor or something like that... :) Maybe this beta version of Karmic doesn't allow me to upgrade, I don't know... So i can't see if the problem is fixed. Could anyone else try it?
Anyway, as I know the Daru kernel was made to solve the very annoying failure of the battery status indicator. This actually worked, and after kernel 2.6.30 the fix is built into the official Ubuntu kernels. That time I started to trust, but this suspend thing still persists...
