While I agree the terminology is confusing both of the actions are
non-destructive (or shouldn't be) so having a warning dialog is very
useless. Part of the design of the menu is to have quick access to
these functions and a dialog defeats that purpose as well. We hope, in
the future, to have the plumbing in the OS to have a single "sleep" item
but that infrastructure simply isn't in place.
