To get the installer working on Ubuntu 9.10 (amd64), I first installed the ia32-libs (sudo apt-get install ia32-libs) then symlinked OpenAL (sudo ln -s /usr/lib32/libopenal.so.1 /usr/lib32/libopenal.so.0).
The installer then complained "I got a bad dirchar! I only want '/'!" due some odd characters being appended to the DVD name. Therefore I unmounted the DVD and remounted it under a different directory. Then I ran the installer. 5 DVDs to go before I know if the actual application works! - James -- Installer_Linux on X-Plane 9 will not activate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352794 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
