Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help to improve
Ubuntu.

The first set of messages are from the kernel, and I don't think they
should be showing up when booting with 'quiet'; opening a task on the
kernel for those.

The messages in the second screenshot are from individual startup
scripts that are being started in parallel - since we now deliberately
don't start usplash in the initramfs by default for reasons of boot
performance, I'm not sure if this can be fixed in usplash or if we need
to fix up those other packages to not emit the messages in the first
place.
