PROBABLY RELATED BUG USING NDISWRAPPER I have just tried to get the dongle working using ndiswrapper and I have encountered a similar, but not identical problem.
Whereas with the Linux driver the signal strength is tiny (e.g. -250dB), and the noise level is apparently -256dB, with the Windows driver in ndiswrapper the signal is typically around -90dB, with noise level a bit below that, say 95dB. In other words, though the levels are very different, the signal to noise ratio is tiny in both cases. It works fine in Windows. -- Poor Rx on TL-WN422G wifi adapter (zd1211rw driver) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445989 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
