I got same issue just after I install karmic A6. I update network- manager to newest one in PPA, but it can not help I have to use pppoeconf & pon dsl-provider to connect to internet. This issue is too boring.
I shut down network-manager, and set debug flag NM_PPP_DEBUG=1 NetworkManager --no-daemon 2>&1 | tee /tmp/nm.log ** Attachment added: "nm.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33430914/nm.log -- network-manager: can't connect using PPPoE https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448287 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
