Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.31-12-386
Starting from 2.6.31-12 ( package 'linux-image-2.6.31-11-generic
2.6.31-11.38' is still ok ) the kernel started crashing for me.
When I say crashing, I mean I choose it from Grub's list, I see a black screen
( not a single line of output, and I tried to remove the 'quiet' from kernel
command line - not a single line of output either ) , like 2 seconds later my
monitor announces 'no signal' and the comp reboots back to BIOS.
like I said before, 2.6.31-11.38 is ok.
